The Top 100 hospitals in the United States were listed in the just released report from the Thomson Reuters.
“The study evaluates performance in 10 areas: mortality; medical complications; patient safety; average patient stay; expenses; profitability; patient satisfaction; adherence to clinical standards of care; post-discharge mortality; and readmission rates for acute myocardial infarction, heart failure and pneumonia.
“For the past 18 years, Thomson Reuters has used objective research and public data to evaluate performance within relevant comparison groups and guide hospitals and health systems to reach for excellence.”
