Today I read that the U. S. basketball team beat the team from Ukraine yesterday in the FIBA World Championships. So, a civil war is happening in Ukraine, yet they can compete in this tournament? There is something wrong with this picture; fix the focus.
Perhaps Columbia is trying to reduce spending, so they won’t need to increase taxes any more. I think the city might consider buying LED lights for Christmas decorations. It certainly would cost far less in the long run, but they are presently so expensive that it might be necessary to increase taxes to pay for them. “A penny saved is a penny earned.”
Today is the birthday of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, a.k.a., Mark Twain. He was born November 30, 1835. This weekend, or whenever, why not read something he wrote.
