We snapped a few pictures on Tuesday morning.
Doggie doo-doo and lessons learned. The little white dog just had to do what dogs have to do when their owners take them for walks. This one had to do it in the 400 block of Locust Street. We watched as the owner decided what to do (the owner/walker had no disposal bag and the two of them walked away).
But we happened into conversations with a few people and our faith in humankind was restored. About 10 minutes later, the little white dog’s owner/walker and the little white dog returned with a bag and recovered the doo-doo. Lesson learned: when you walk a dog, be prepared and carry one (or two) bags. Thank you for being a good dog owner!
Here is the access cut in the curb to the parking lot. Council voted to restore the curb to a curb; that means the meter will be operating again and generating revenue.

Finally, we happened across this (?) while walking on Fourth Street between Locust and the Post Office. Kind of reminds us of the Tony Bennett classic, “I left my heart in San Francisco.” How about I left my flank steak (or other body part) in Columbia?
