  • Other LEGAL NOTICEs published in the Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era: MANHEIM CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Final Budget Notice NOTICE is given that the Proposed Final Budget for the General Fund of Manheim Central School District for the 2011-2012 fiscal year in its most recent form is available for public inspection at the School District office, 71 North Hazel Street, Manheim, Pennsylvania, and will be presented for adoption as a Final Budget at a regular meeting of the School Board to be held in the auditorium of Manheim Central Middle School, 261 White Oak Road, Manheim, Pennsylvania at 7 p.m. on June 15, 2011. The budget may be amended before final adoption. This will be a special meeting held for consideration of the Final Budget, other regular business, and any other business raised at the meeting. Kristee Reichard, Secretary. – NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF BORROWING RESOLUTION NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of School Directors of Hempfield School District, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at a meeting duly called and duly held on May 10, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., finally adopted and enacted a Resolution authorizing the incurrence of general obligation indebtedness by the issuance of the School District’s General Obligation Notes, Series of 2011 in the aggregate principal amount of $3,445,000 (the “2011 Notes”) and General Obligation Bonds, Series A of 2011 in the aggregate principal amount of $8,190,000 (the “2011A Bonds”), pursuant to the Pennsylvania Local Government Unit Debt Act. Proceeds of the 2011 Notes will be used to provide funds for the current refunding of a portion of the School District’s General Obligation Bonds, Series AA of 2004 and for the payment of the costs and expenses of issuing the debt. Proceeds of the 2011A Bonds will be used to provide funds for the current refunding of another portion of the School District’s General Obligation Bonds, Series AA of 2004 and all of the School District’s General Obligation Notes, Series of 2006 and for the payment of the costs and expenses of issuing the debt. Notice of the proposed adoption of the Resolution, containing a summary of the Resolution, was published in the Lancaster Intelligencer Journal and New Era on May 3, 2011. In addition to the above, the substance of the amendments made in the Resolution during the passage are as follows: 1. The interest rates, principal payments, debt service and redemption provisions applicable to the 2011 Notes and the 2011A Bonds were finalized and inserted in the Resolution. The 2011 Notes mature serially in varying amounts beginning on October 15, 2011 and on October 15 of each year from 2012 through 2023, inclusive. Outstanding 2011 Notes are subject to redemption prior to maturity at the option of the School District in whole or in part on October 15, 2016 or any date thereafter, in each case upon payment of 100% of the principal amount, together with interest accrued to the date fixed for redemption. The 2011 Notes bear interest as follows: 2.500% for the October 15, 2011, October 15, 2012, October 15, 2013, October 15, 2014, October 15, 2015, October 15, 2016 and October 15, 2017 maturities; 3.000% for the October 15, 2018, October 15, 2019, October 15, 2020 and October 15, 2021 maturities; and 3.250% for the October 15, 2022 and October 15, 2023 maturities. The 2011A Bonds mature serially in varying amounts beginning on October 15, 2011 and on October 15 of each year from 2012 through 2021, inclusive. Outstanding 2011A Bonds are subject to redemption prior to maturity at the option of the School District in whole or in part on October 15, 2016 or any date thereafter, in each case upon payment of 100% of the principal amount, together with interest accrued to the date fixed for redemption. The 2011A Bonds bear interest as follows: 3.000% for the October 15, 2011 through October 15, 2014 and October 15, 2016 through October 15, 2021 maturities and 4.00% for the October 15, 2015 maturity. 2. An award and sale of the 2011 Notes and the 2011A Bonds was made to Morgan Stanley & Co. Mellon at a private sale by invitation for the purchase price of $12,151,884.10, plus accrued interest (if any) to the settlement date. This includes an underwriting discount of $188,535.10 and a net original issue premium of $705,419.20. A COPY OF THE FULL TEXT OF THE FINAL RESOLUTION MAY BE EXAMINED BY ANY CITIZEN IN THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE, HEMPFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT, 200 CHURCH STREET, LANDISVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA ON ANY BUSINESS DAY, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 A.M.
