The Plan as narrated at the Borough of Columbia Website: River Park: The Borough has received grants from Lancaster County, DEP (Department of Environmental Protection) and DCNR (Department of Conservation and Natural Resources) and Fish and Boat (we think this refers to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission) for upgrading this widely used park. Re-Opening of the Park is scheduled for May 2010.

But as the borough manager narrated at the recent council meeting, the plan is premised on grants. Will the grants continue as hoped? Will the river property develop as planned? Time will tell.
