- “Lebanon Valley College senior running back Ben Guiles, Columbia, was named to the d3football.com preseason All-America Second Team. Guiles led the Middle Atlantic Conference with 1,330 yards last season and ranked 16th in the nation with 5.0 yards per carry. - The other Columbia. West Hempfield (Columbia) woman (not Columbia Borough) charged in Manheim Township – “MANHEIM TWP.: Amanda R. Mitchell, 30, of Sycamore Drive, Columbia, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 400 block of Butler Avenue at 12:05 p.m. Sunday. According to police, Mitchell had “numerous baggies of cocaine” and a small amount of marijuana in the car.
