- POLICE LOG: “COLUMBIA: Ashley Lynn Hall, 27, and her uncle, Brian Robert Shultz, 44, both of Columbia, were charged Dec. 26 with a Christmas Day burglary at Columbia Tobacco, 26 N. Fourth St., borough police reported Tuesday. Both were taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail. – COLUMBIA: Jeremy Lugo, 20, of Columbia, was charged after an incident Sunday with his girlfriend on Lancaster Avenue. – COLUMBIA: Coty Stephen Rutter, 25, of Columbia, was cited twice. On Saturday, he was arrested after he stood in the middle of a crosswalk at Fourth and Cherry streets, asking passers-by strange questions and not making any sense. The next day, he was arrested after trying to enter a residence in the 100 block of North Third Street. – MANOR TWP.: A taillight was damaged on a vehicle in the 800 block of Letort Road overnight Friday. Damage is $200. The same night, a piece of metal was thrown through a vehicle window in the 1400 block of Water Street, Washington Boro. Damage is $200. – MANOR TWP.: Charges are pending against William Klase III, 21, of the 1700 block of Water Street, Washington Boro, after his vehicle struck a utility pole in his block Jan. 1. Klase fled, but was later arrested. – MANOR TWP.: A green 1997 Honda Civic was taken in the 100 block of Blue Rock Road on Saturday. It was later spotted in East Lampeter Township, but when police tried to stop the car, a tall, thin man jumped from it and fled. The car crashed into a Dumpster. At least two other vehicles were stolen from the Millersville and Lancaster Township areas around the same time and police believe they are related. Police ask anyone with information about the vehicles to call them at 299-5231. – MARIETTA: Darlene E. Maldonado, 47, of 522 E. Front St., was charged Saturday after a verbal dispute with a neighbor. – MARIETTA:John J. Brandyberry, 54, of 66 E.
