Laflame, 24, of Columbia, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness June 7 in the area of Third and Chestnut streets. – WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Waleska Casiano-Acevedo, 34, of Lancaster, was cited for retail theft Wednesday after trying to take $244 worth of items from the Kmart store in the 3900 block of Columbia Avenue, police said. – Paul Scott, 50, and Teresa Scott, 50, both of Columbia, were cited Wednesday after an argument in the 2800 block of Ironville Pike. – Anna Marie-Santana, 53, of Columbia, was cited Sunday after, police said, she hit another person during a fight in the 2100 block of Oak Hollow Drive. –  Candace Fisher, 20, of Columbia, was charged after she tried to hide a Delaware County man when police were trying to serve a warrant on him Wednesday in the 600 block of Charelle Drive.” – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era
  • “On Tuesday, PPL Holtwood will temporarily close the recently refurbished boat ramps at the Pequea Boat Launch to install permanent concrete planks. The ramps will reopen at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The concrete planks will provide a gradual slope, improving the gradient as boats are placed into the river. Earlier this spring, PPL Holtwood repaired the existing boat ramp and extended it farther into the Susquehanna River.” – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era
