The gavel taps sounded at 6:00 pm last night to begin the monthly meeting of the Columbia Borough council meeting-of-the-whole. At 10:10 pm, when it was tapped again, several of the agenda items (below) were “un-discussed.”

All the councilors, the mayor, the borough’s manager, the recorder and two citizens endured the entire ordeal. A member of the Columbia QRS came to the meeting late; he provided Columbia QRS run statistics for the Safety Committee. The borough finance manager left the meeting around the half-way mark following the discussion of budget and finance items.

Since all the committee reports were not aired last night, the continuation of this meeting will happen this (Tuesday) evening at 6:00 pm.
