Brandyberry, 27, of Columbia, was cited for harassment and public drunkenness after he yelled profanities in the 400 block of Walnut Street on Saturday, police said. He also continually rang a doorbell, police said, after they told him to go into his home. – COLUMBIA: Michelle Lee Smith, 20, of Columbia, was cited after she allegedly struck a woman in the 500 block of Maple Street on Saturday. – MANHEIM TWP.: Toryn N. Herr, 18, of Hempfield Hill Road, Columbia, was charged after she allegedly tried to take $4 worth of items Friday from Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike. She also is facing a charge after police discovered she had drug paraphernalia. – COLUMBIA: Borough police remind children and adults not to trespass in the creek next to Blue Lane, owned by Safe Harbor. Some have ignored “No Trespassing” signs and gone swimming there this summer. It is a dangerous waterway as someone could drown or be injured in a fall, police said.
