  • The Lancaster County LINK, the Link to Aging and Disability Resources, is hosting its monthly community partners’ meeting and cross-training workshop on Thursday, August 16 at Agape Care, Inc., 1865 Lincoln Highway East , Lancaster, PA.  The monthly community partners’ meeting begins at 1:00 pm. Prospective and current collaborative partners are invited to come for the meeting and the cross-training workshop to find out more about Lancaster County LINK and the collaborative partnership process.  Immediately following the meeting, Karen Shenk, Agape Care Center, Inc., president, and Nicki Nafziger, vice president, will discuss the basics of non-medical in-home care, how to navigate the services available, and alleviate the pressures of family caregivers. Following the presentation, interested participants are invited to take a tour of the facilities.  The Lancaster County Link to Aging and Disability Resources is a coordinated network of Core and Collaborative Partner agencies which allows consumers to initiate contact with any Link Network partner to access information, assistance, and resources.  Call Anne Heberlein, 717-380-9714, for more information or to confirm your attendance.
