- POLICE LOG: LANCASTER: Debra R. Miller, 21, of the 800 block of Lancaster Avenue, Columbia, was charged at Giant Food Store, 235 N. Reservoir St., on Wednesday. Police said Miller tried to leave the store with items valued at $27.12 – MARIETTA: Kelly Z. Claar, 46, of the 500 block of South Front Street, Columbia, was charged Tuesday after a disturbance at the River Front Cafe, 40 E. Front St., on July 31. – MARIETTA: Michael S. Squibbs, 20, of the 100 block of East Front Street, Marietta, was charged Tuesday with underage drinking. He was seen Aug. 9 at South Mulberry and West Market streets under the influence while carrying a bottle of vodka, police said. – MANOR TWP.: About $50 damage was reported after a tomato was thrown at a parked vehicle, breaking the side view mirror, overnight Friday in the 1900 block of Water Street, Washington Boro, police said. Police ask anyone with information to call Officer Tom Moser at 299-5321. – MANOR TWP.: Laurinda Schaeffer, 21, was charged with simple assault and harassment Saturday after officers responded to a reported domestic incident at around 2:45 a.m. in her home in the 100 block of Hampden Drive, Mountville, police said.
