  • LEGAL NOTICE published in the Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era, Thursday, August 30, 2012 – “LANCASTER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS LANCASTER COUNTY HOSPITAL AUTHORITY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Lancaster County Hospital Authority (the “Authority”) on September 13, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at the offices of McNees, Wallace & Nurick LLC, 570 Lausch Lane, Suite 200, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17601, in connection with the proposed pl an of financing  involving the issuance by the Authority of its tax-exempt bonds in an estimated aggregate principal amount not to exceed $22,000,000 (the“Bonds”).  A. Description of the Project to be Financed: The proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to Saint Anne’s Retirement Community, Incorporated (the “Corporation”), a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation with their administrative offices located at 3952 Columbia Avenue, Columbia, PA 17512, and applied to finance a project (the“Project”), consisting of: (i) the acquisition and construction of certain alterations, additions, and improvements to the facilities of the Corporation located in the Township of West Hempfield, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, known as “Saint Anne’s Retirement Community, Incorporated”, including, but not limited to, expansion of the campus infrastructure including water, sewer, retention basins and roadways to accommodate the expansion of the independent living campus and construction of independent living units (the “CapitalProject”); and (ii) the refunding of certain outstanding indebtedness of the Corporation consisting of the outstanding Health Center Revenue Bonds, Series of 1999 (Saint Anne’s Retirement Community, Incorporated Project), dated as of August 1, 1999, in the original aggregate principal amount of $20,350,000, issued by the Authority (the “Refunding Project.” Together with the Capital Project, the “Project”); and (iii) if applicable, to the payment of costs of issuing the Bonds. The Project will be owned and operated by the Corporation. B. Estimated Maximum Amount of Issue: $22,000,000. C. Initial Owner and Operator: Saint Anne’s Retirement Community, Incorporated. D. Location of Facilities: The Project (described above) being financed is to be located at 3952 Columbia Avenue, in the Township of West Hempfield, York County, (sic) Pennsylvania. The public is invited to attend the hearing at the address set forth above. Any and all persons in attendance will be afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed issuance of the Bonds. The public hearing is held by and on behalf of the Authority, as the issuer of the Bonds, and by and on behalf of the County of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, as the government unit on behalf of which the Authority acts as required by the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.”
