Recently, it was announced that the Harrisburg Patriot-News and several other newspaper will reduce their publishing schedules to three days a week, perhaps, is a harbinger. Reading Eagle editor, Harry Deitz, hits a key issue in his opinion column in today’s newspaper as he states: “But there also is a danger. Social media can distribute information we may not believe is appropriate or suitable to share. It can lead to widespread rumors and untruths.”
