- “Lancaster Central Market is celebrating the autumnal season with its annual Harvest Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 6. The celebration will feature crafts and games for children, live music and breakfast items that are featured only during Harvest Breakfast. Some activities will take place inside the market and others will be outside. A Harvest Breakfast T-shirt will be sold to commemorate the day. The market, at 23 N. - POLICE LOG: “WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Police are looking for the driver of a light colored truck or sport utility vehicle with some passenger-side damage for a hit and run about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Marietta Avenue. Police say a couple was walking west when a westbound vehicle hit the man. The man was briefly knocked unconscious and was taken to Lancaster General Hospital with moderate injuries. West Hempfield police ask anyone with information to call 285-5191. – WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: A green 1995 Acura Integra, license JCY-1181, was reported stolen from Lincoln West Apartments between 10 p.m. Thursday and 5:15 a.m. Friday. – MANOR TWP.: Joseph Kreiner, 20, Spring Grove, was charged Sept. 16, after police heard a man yelling obscenities in the area of Letort Road and Knollwood Drive. Kreiner fled from police, and ran through yards to escape. He was captured and unsuccessfully attempted to flee a second time. He was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and underage drinking.” – Lancaster Sunday News
