Noticed the bio-hazard tagged house of a few weeks ago is now a vacant house; condemned signs are gone. The roses are nice, though.
Speaking of roses; saw this gorgeous one.
The entry point to Laurel Hill.
Noticed this sign just into the walk.
Just a bit further down the road, we saw another sign … evidently, someone else did not see either of these signs!
A final resting place for dead tire, most likely, is not on Laurel Hill’s menu of services.
Behold the “beau belle” with the “bows” a the corner of Walnut and Ninth. There are more pictures, especially of the grandeur of the interior of the house, here at the Superior Realty MLS search function. Here’s more from the Lancaster County Property search site.
Inspiring spire.
Beautiful bowed proch.
Bowed brick belly behind back.
And in the downtown business district, another revenue generating retail site is due to turn into a non-taxable house of worship
Noticed on the window at 232 Locust Street.
[EDITOR’S NOTE: We just smiled (actually grimaced) and shook our head when we read the salutation on the letter. The year is 2012, yet the letter begins: “Gentlemen.” Wonder who does not know that the correct way to address a letter when one is uncertain about the recipient is this: “Dear Sir or Madam – Use the appropriate gender title if you know, or both if you’re not sure. This should only be used when you don’t have a name to use, as you should always address your letters as specifically as possible.”?]
Also noticed the neatness of the posting mounting. Adds a touch of class to Borough Zoning communications with anyone (residents, visitors, tourists) walking by.
