  • Say What? “Fortunately for Pennsylvania residents, payday lending at triple-digit interest rates has long been illegal under Pennsylvania law. Our state strictly and effectively regulates small-loan lenders: unlicensed lenders may charge only 6% interest annually and lenders licensed by the Banking Department may charge higher rates of about 24% annually.  The state law applies even to loans made over the Internet to Pennsylvania residents, and has been enforced against the largest predatory payday lenders in the country.” Unbelievably, “Pennsylvania legislators are currently considering HB 2191, a bill that, as amended, will authorize payday loans with annual interest rates as high as 300% and do nothing to stop the debt trap.” Click here to take action today!

  1. Oh Ronald you know better than to have your dogs running loose, now you must pay the fidler. I have three pups, do not let them run unattended, but I must say they runied my inlaws carpet. Now i must consider what is best for me, let them continue to ruin carpet or let them “run loose” for a short time to attend to their business.
