  • Ephrata Community Hospital has taken the first step toward affiliating with a York health system. The agreement is the first step toward an arrangement under which Ephrata would become part of WellSpan Health‘s system, according to a press release. Under the agreement, Ephrata would continue to be governed by a local board, which would have a relationship with WellSpan’s board. WellSpan includes three hospitals: WellSpan York Hospital, WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital and WellSpan Surgery & Rehabilitation Hospital.” – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era
