  • At Monday’s Columbia Borough Council meeting, a citizen asked that the Borough begin to post communications to citizens on the Borough Website. While the request was directed to the notification of citizens of board, commission or council vacancies, citizens are served if the Website is dynamic and updated much more frequently.   • POLICE LOG:EAST DONEGAL TWP.: Onyx L. McGhee, 27, of 253 Red Cedar Lane, Marietta, was charged as the result of a disturbance Oct. 29 at Herr’s Market, 1405 River Road. – MANOR TWP.: Zechariah Berger, 19, of Manheim, and Kara Underwood, 19, of Lancaster, have been charged with underage drinking after a traffic stop Nov. 3 at Cartledge Lane and Knollwood Road, police said. The driver of the vehicle had suspected controlled substances and is facing possible DUI charges, according to police. His name is being withheld pending the results of a blood-alcohol test. – EAST DONEGAL TWP.: Vincent R. Vendetti, 20, of 409 Shadetree Blvd., Marietta, and Tyler A. Brock, 20, of 118 W. Market St., Marietta, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found them at Vendetti’s home Nov. 1 with syringes, pill crushers and other items. Police went to the home to serve Vendetti with a bench warrant. He was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and committed to Lancaster County Prison. – WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Hector Ivan Bones-DeJesus, 46, of Allentown, has been charged as the result of a stop Sept. 29 at a DUI checkpoint at Route 30 and Prospect Road. – WASHINGTON BORO: Lori Hoover, 18, of Washington Boro, was charged after allegedly pulling a woman’s hair during a domestic incident Nov. 7 in the 600 block of Shultz Road.” – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era
