- Holiday lights test: You may have noticed that four of the newly installed light poles near the corner of Locust and Third Street are wrapped with bright holiday lighting. If you walk downtown at night, you’ll see that two contain multi-colored lights and two have white lighting. Look closed and you’ll see that each of the colored and white lighted poles are slightly different. Maybe, Columbia will have holiday lighting this year!
