  • A man linked to a series of burglaries in Columbia is behind bars.  Matthew Fabral Dejesus, 18, of Columbia, was found hiding in an apartment  Tuesday evening at the Wagon Werks Apartments, 920 Plane Street. He was arrested following a brief struggle with police. During the arrest, police found several guns connected to the burglaries. A resident of the Water Werks told police he recently bought a gun from Dejesus. Police also found credit cards and other documentation linking Dejesus to the robberies.” – Fox 43

  • POLICE LOG:WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Emergency responders worked on a water rescue call Tuesday at 6:20 a.m. at the Susquehanna River in the area of the Route 30 bridge, a county dispatcher reported. A passerby reported seeing possibly two males standing in the river, waving a flashlight. It was unknown if they were at an island, and no boat was seen. About a dozen crews, including several boats, searched the river until about 7 a.m., but didn’t find anything. – MANHEIM TWP.: Anna A. Habecker, 20, of Fourth Street, Columbia, was charged after allegedly taking $2,270 from a register while she was employed at Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike, between Oct. 19 and Nov. 3.” – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era.
