- “The National Watch and Clock Museum has received a one-time $6,121 grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. The grant is among allocations totaling more than $1 million dispersed to 56 qualifying museums. Grants, according to a statement from the PHMC, were limited to museums with an annual operating budget of $500,000 or more and that do not receive funds from other state agencies. Museum director Noel Poirier said the grant provides ‘a much needed boost’ to the budget.The National Watch and Clock Museum is at 514 Poplar St., Columbia.” – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era
