  • Columbia Presbyterian Church was one of the 50 Lancaster County nonprofit organizations to which the Alcoa Foundation and Alcoa Lancaster donated $192,000 last year, it was announced Tuesday. The church was awarded $250. – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era

  • “Flotilla 14-03 of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will hold a Pennsylvania Basic Boating Course on Saturday, March 26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lititz American Legion, 109 N. Broad St. Topics will include boat handling, navigation and rules of the road. All boaters 21 and under who operate a vessel with greater than 25 horsepower must have a boating certificate to operate a boat in Pennsylvania. Those who wish to operate a boat should complete the course and will be given a state certificate of compliance.
