Experience Columbia’s art galleries, antique shops, participating specialty shops and local eateries. This at-your-own pace tour provides the opportunity to view exhibits from local and visiting artists, enjoy refreshments and discover the uniqueness of Columbia. Experience all the river towns area has to offer in this “at your own pace” monthly happening.  Visit galleries, eateries and specialty shops in the Columbia, Wrightsville, and Marietta area.   • Jonal Gallery/Alverta Arts Shop (653 Locust Street, Columbia) – Enjoy resident artist Dale Weibley’s exciting opening “Black – White and Beyond.” Come see Dale’s newest pen & ink “Nemo’s Arrival”in black & white and in polychrome. Enjoy a new twist to Jules Verne’s popular “Captain Nemo”. Did he truly exist only in fiction or could he have been the scientific genius behind Jule Verne’s writings?  you decide! Dale will also premiere his new “Window Garden” series at Jonal Gallery. Come prepared to enjoy works never displayed before at Jonal Gallery and become reacquainted with some of your favorite Dale Weibley works. View the works of emerging artist Christine Ott at this month’s Fourth Friday reception, fee and open to all.

  • Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts (452 Locust Street, Columbia)- Help launch a new exhibit opening this Fourth Friday and running through March 23. Enjoy the work of the artists from the Marietta ArtHouse featuring the talents of Jacklyn Madsen, Linda Mylin Ross, Emilie Snyder, and Claire Lavin.  Join in the artists reception scheduled from 5-9pm on this date.

  • lowercase gallery (211 North Front Street, Wrightsville) – It’s a spontaneous and wonderfully diverse show! Enjoy the surprise that awaits at the “Show Up and Show Show”, an exhibit which first debuted on January 26 and continues through March 2.  View the works of 65 artists from York, Lancaster, and beyond.  In answer to an open call, these 65 artists showed up with artwork in hand one weekend in January to create a feast for the eyes.
