  • The official notice of elected offices contested this year’s elections appears in the LEGAL NOTICES in today’s Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era, the Lancaster County Board of Elections: “School District School Director – 4 year term Vote for not more than Four. And these borough offices: Columbia and Columbia Borough,  Mayor –4 year term Vote for One – All Boroughs Council – 4 year term Vote for not more than Four.”
  • PIAA CLASS AA Wrestling continues today at 5 p.m. at Wilson High School in West Lawn as Columbia’s Vanyel Leythem-Peterson (220)  (29-11) begins his quest in a preliminary-round pairing with North Schuylkill’s Tanner Dean (24-9). A victory earns him a rematch with Halifax’s Joey Kaufman (36-0). Kaufman defeated Leythem-Peterson 10-3 in last weekend’s District Three semifinals. – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era

CO255125, of Columbia, Lancaster County. The Board took this action pursuant to the Order of the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County dated October 16, 2012, which the Court issued under section 4355 of the Domestic Relations Code. The suspension is effective immediately.” [Agrispin’s shop on North Fourth Street is closed.]
