  • “Marietta Borough Council has amended Marietta Market’s yearlong lease agreement to allow the nonprofit to install a permanent shed in Flanagan Park for storage of tools and supplies. During the council meeting on March 12, Katie Martin, a member of the market’s steering committee, requested permission to install a permanent shed in Flanagan Park, where the market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays during its operating months of June through October.   • Take a walk with other local folks on National Walking Day, Wednesday, April 3.  The High companies will hold a community-wide walk at its Greenfield Corporate Center campus from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. that day, at the Greenfield Road exit of Route 30.  Participants entering on William Penn Way can follow signs to parking and the main reception area for recommended walk routes and event-related activities. Lighten Up Lancaster County, in partnership with Lancaster General Health and the American Heart Association, is encouraging residents to participate.
