Mr. Governor, someone had to agree to these pensions sometime. Weren’t Pennsylvania’s legislators and elected public servants at the local level the ones who did?

Our more pressing problem is to install a legislative system that has broader vision, citizen accountability, costs less and is significantly smaller than the one we have. And what about their pensions? Is reform coming there too?

Didn’t elected public servants approve the legislation and sign off on the pensions?
