On our Independence day cemetery pilgrimage, we happened on our first sighting of a military grave marker for warriors who served in Vietnam. We’ll see more of these identifiers as the average Vietnam veteran heads into his or her late 60s and early 70s. We’ll also begin to see grave markers for those who have fought and served in Iraq and Afghanistan. On the other hand, we’re also seeing “grave robberies” of these tributes to service.
