  • Jonal Gallery, Columbia, will be hosting Digital Artist Scott Gore.  “Twelve Tribes of Israel”, a mural-like piece that consists of twelve individual panels created on canvas will be on display.  Join Scott in his journey with Kaballah.
  • We welcome Hector Ortega, a potter from Mexico, at Weavings, Ink. in Wrightsville.  Hector along with local artists will display their work during “Ancient Marks”.  Hector is part of a community of over 300 potters in Mata Ortiz, Mexico who have recreated, from pottery shards, the ancient clay body and decorations of their ancestors.
  • Stop by Garth Gallery and Café Garth where Tom Pontz trio will be playing from 6:30-8:30. The exhibit is entitled “Annual Figurative Works”.  You’ll also find coffee and other specialty drinks and treats here.

Marietta ArtHouse will be offering lessons and classes starting August 21. They are not open for Fourth Friday, but consider stopping in Wednesday or Thursday from 11-8, Friday from 12-4 or Saturday from 11-3.  They also have a gallery for viewing.
