LANCASTER, PA, SEPTEMBER 16, 2013 – The Spooky Nook Sports facility will hold its first X-Ball Tennis Tournament on Friday, September 27 through Sunday, September 29. The tennis tournament is open to all United States Tennis Association members including all ages and skill levels. The men’s and ladies’ singles and doubles tournament will be played on the indoor tennis courts located at Spooky Nook.

“Hosting an event like this will draw a higher level player to the area, some will be journeyman touring pro’s. Doing this will aid Spooky Nook increasing the level of tennis within the Lancaster county into the future.” said Paul Prior, Director of the tournament.

The total prize money for the X-Ball Tournament event is $2,500. Single winners will be awarded $400. Entry to this tournament must be submitted to Paul Prior, paulp@nooksports.com, by September 22. The cost is $50 for singles and $25 for doubles. Spectators are encourage to the come view the tournament matches, free of charge throughout the weekend.
