Earlier this month, Columbia news, views & reviews published this news release about the Sweet Potato Festival in southern York County.

Yesterday, the Festival attracted over 500 visitors and charmed them with music and food treats such as sweet potato soup, sweet potato pancakes, sweet potato ice cream, sweet potato, marshmallow and peanut butter sandwiches and more. And visitors to the festival have the opportunity learn about numerous varieties of sweet potatoes and to dig up their own sweet potatoes from the field.
