- Not true! A letter to the editor in today’s Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era states a funeral director “informed me that our organs would not be used because we’re too old (in our 70s). He told me, ‘They want young people’s organs,’’ especially those on life support.” According to the US Department of Health and Human Services Website about organ donation, “There are no age limitations on who can donate. Whether you can donate depends on your physical condition, not age. Newborns as well as senior citizens have been organ donors.”

The SNL skit was really good. Humor is really needed. That 3 day a week newspaper in H’burg should get a life. At least the citizens there wisely voted the “Ci – Tay major, Linda D. Thompson out of office. Linda finally received the answer to her question, ‘Does anybody have a problem with that?”
