- Got several phone calls yesterday. In fact, they’ve been regular this month. Thing is, unrecognized caller numbers or names just go to voice mail. A pleasant sounding female recorded voice from a well-known telephone company (with a name that begins with “V” and ends with “erizon”) called. Problem with this phone company is that when we had their service way back in 2005, their service was so bad and prices were so high, we dropped them in favor of another carrier. We’ve been with that VOIP carrier ever since and their prices have remained constant and the service is, well, pretty impressive. And so, another “buggy whip” company continues to spend lots of dollars and efforts to recapture Customers they could have kept with a pretty simple business model: Listen to the Customer. Dumb.
