“HARRISBURG –Leading education reform advocate Rep. Ryan Aument (R-Lancaster) today applauded his House colleagues for approving legislation which aims to increase transparency of school district budgets and link financial data to student academic outcomes.

“House Bill 1411, known as SchoolWATCH, would establish a user-friendly online database, similar to the recently launched PennWATCH website, which provides the public with easy access to the revenues and expenditures of traditional, charter and cyber schools across the state.”
