  • Endless audacity: The bozo who brought the “shop for electricity providers” bill up has dropped it. According to this article in The Morning Call, “State Sen. Bob Mensch is abandoning his controversial bill to end default electricity service in Pennsylvania. The bill, introduced last year, had the backing of Walmart and other big corporations with deep pockets.” Yet this same bozo, has a column on the Intelligencer Journal‘s opinion page this morning now wants to introduce a new bill. In his column, he says, “Very few bills are perfect upon introduction … .” Jeez, what crap! Imagine a company saying that as it introduced a product for sale. Or imaging your favorite restaurant owner saying that about the meal you just ordered. What the hell’s wrong with this guy? Why should he get a “do-over?” Why does he get a column to try to justify his “do over?”
  • Couple of pages of sheriff sale notices in today’s Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era. The listings for the March 26 change a bit as some of the properties listed have been cancelled or postponed as resolutions are achieved. Local properties remain on the list.
