Remember that old song, “You don’t know what you’ve got … – the one-hit singer, Ralph Donner, sounded like Elvis.

At the meeting on Friday night, that same message emerged as Norm Meiskey came to the center of the councillors’ Kumbaya circle to share history on the “conditional” and contemplated Front Street transactions. The former borough manager is a vault of information and recollective history.

Notably absent from the meeting was legal counsel.

Lacking that knowledge, the average citizen can refer to documents at the Lancaster County Recorder of Deeds Office.
