Good news! Westbound Route 30 was restored to two lanes of traffic at about 4 o’clock this afternoon. The maintenance crews completed the repairs they needed to accomplish in both the right and left westbound lanes. They are now finished with this repair operation in both directions on Route 30 and will not be interfering with traffic tomorrow (Thursday, May 8). There will be no traffic restrictions on this portion of Route 30 in either direction for the morning commute.

Please remember that this portion of Route 30 is in poor condition. We have scheduled a major resurfacing project next year, but between now and then we will need to continue monitoring the condition of the road and making repairs when necessary so that we can keep it in decent and safe condition for motorists until next year’s project.
