  • Restaurant inspections in Lancaster County: Congratulations to The Hurricane Pizza and Grill on Rt. 462 as it gets a clean inspection – too bad so many other places don’t take food preparation and serving as seriously. Among the slew of places in Lancaster County’s inspections with  some basic food service mess-ups, are The Kingdom Buffet (again and again and again) and a Chinese place in the Kmart Plaza just east of town. And how about this inspection note at Crown Chicken: “Cigarette butts were found in a cup in the hand-sink area during the inspection.” Yumm, huh?  And who doesn’t want “Napkin holders, salt and pepper shakers, menus and condiments are greasy and not clean to sight and touch?” The good news is you can have greasy accompaniments at The Waffle House. – The Sunday News
