  • Appreciate Cole, newspapers and others who chronicle and record events. The written record of what happens is the way out of the confused, muddled and addled banter that is often seen.

  • Get the facts about drowning: According to the CDC, “Every day, about ten people die from unintentional drowning. Of these, two are children aged 14 or younger. Drowning ranks fifth among the leading causes of unintentional injury death in the United States.”
  • Can municipal sewer authorities run a business? Apparently not well, according to this Harrisburg Patriot-News article, mid-state sewer customers owe millions. Check the scores of comments following the article.
  • And the newspaper plans to publish “a database that provides the names of customers in each municipality who are 90-days-or more late in paying bills and owe more than $500.”
