unreliable Internet

Spent nearly an hour talking with a.Comcast service rep trying to figure out why connectivity is so-o-o-o slow.

No luck.

This post is from 3G mobile phone service.

5:15 am – still no service

6:25 am – no service yet. Another call provides nothing new. Phone rep in another place far, far away reads the comcastic script but know nothing about the slow service.

The speed is worse than it was in 1995.

Nothing has changed in the wiring of the set-up since last night. Unless, of course, connectivity gremlins came in during the darkness an changed everything.

9:58 am … got phone message gee Comcast now says they’re experiencing line difficulties om my area.

12:57 pm … after all the delays; all the reboots of the modem, the computer, the modem; all the lies;  all the calls and all the time … Comcast service is back.

This is just comcasted up! It is un-comcast-able and bullcast.

  1. I think it’s obvious why the internet is so slow = Comcast is piling up the money, and it is clogging the internet.

  2. I wonder…is this a new “Cast” system. Perhaps you were experiencing being an “untouchable.” Just saying…

  3. Very well could be. The comcastic provider wants to have a “caste system” of subscribers. Those at the top of the caste system will get faster speeds because they’ll pay higher rates. The vast numbers will suffer with slower speeds; irregular service … and higher prices.

    • I think these words from Marvin Gaye’s song “Inner City Blues” apply to this, and of course, many other situations in the United States of America: ‘Inflation no chance/to increase finance/Bills pile up sky high/Send that boy off to die/Make me wanna holler/the way they do my life/Make me wanna holler/ the way they do my life.
