Today’s “lion-like” weather report includes “snow, sleet, freezing rain” – not a real big lion. Typically most of the county’s “mega-snow” events don’t happen in March, there’ve been some humdingers, though. “The storm that hit on March 18-21, 1958 had arguably the biggest impact of any storm ever to hit the Lancaster area.” Here’s a Lancaster Newspapers’ report on the biggest storms, including the March ones.

- American Red Cross Month
- Irish-American Heritage
- Women’s History Month
- The First Day of Spring (finally)
