Yesterday around 11 am or so, the parking lot at the newly re-modeled Wendy’s fairly crowded. Stopped into the store last night; here are some inside-the-store “Image Activation” views.

Our impressions: Tables and chairs have that “elementary school” look and feel.

Pricing discrepancy: The price for a product on the menu board was was lower than the price that was rung up at the register; the register price was 23% higher than the posted price.

The person ringing up the order, shrugged and said, “That’s the way it is.” We asked for a manager’s intervention and the manager corrected the pricing error with a credit.

Kitchen floor: When ordering at the counter inside the store, Customers have an open view of the other side of the counter food preparation area. The floor in that area was very unappetizing with lots of dropped french fries and food spills in evidence.
