Fourth Friday is a monthly happening inviting the public to enjoy an evening visiting galleries, antique, restaurants, specialty shops & various venues in Columbia, Marietta, and Wrightsville. The evening provides opportunities to view exhibits from local and regional artists, to enjoy refreshments, special events and promotions, while discovering the distinct charm of the Susquehanna River communities.
Highlights for July:
Join us Friday, July 24th for Fourth Fridays along the 300 Block of Locust Street to participate in our Non – Profit Feast. St. Paul Episcopal Church will have their Strawberry Festival and the “Largest Hot Dogs on Locust Street”; St. Paul Lutheran will be selling cold drinks, Historic Salem and a local Girl Scout Troop will have baked goods for sale. In addition, RT 30 Seafood Vendor Truck, Rocky’s BBQ Vendor Truck, Smoothie King, and Crave Catering Co Vendor Truck will be joining us to complete a plethora of food offerings.
Garth Gallery is exhibiting a new show from artists, Philip & Nancy.
Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts is offering Not Good, I Start Again from July 24 – August 22, featuring works by Evangeline Riddiford Graham and Grace Sachi Troxell.
Through the Fire Artists Studio is showing works from Jerry King Musser and Artist in Residence Janette Toth-Musser.
Columbia Historic Preservation Society is featuring Columbia’s famous Sonneteer and Artist, Lloyd Mifflin.
Bootleg Antiques is hosting folk music by Jim Fisher and moonshine samples in the café.
All restaurants and clubs are open after the galleries and shops close, most offer “Happy Hour” specials at night.
