• Several Columbia residents in the news – not in a good way. Three folks living in town make the POLICE LOG; one is arrested for “sending threatening and lewd text messages” to someone. Two others, evidently were “under-ringing merchandise” while employed at K-mart. – LNP – Always Lancaster
  

• Where do people get the ideas? Maybe from watching another kind of welfare or under-ringing by a Berks County businessman who’s asking for “‘tax increment financing.’ The program allows for tax funds to be used for development.”
