Click here or on the graphic to see the listing of Lancaster County sheriff’s sales for September 30.
Is there a thread of connection between the clamor about high taxes and sheriff’s sales? Maybe.
There’s a letter-to-the-editor from a Columbian in today’s LNP – Always Lancaster contending that local Republican elected public servants have not done enough to get property tax relief. The letter writer says he “feels his life and … tax obligation our local school district will stop on the same day.”
The Pennsylvania Taxpayers Cyber Coalition has a bunch more of these kinds of letters.
But as the elected public servants continue their “our side versus the other side” intransigence in Harrisburg – as long as these “patriots” put political parties ahead of representing the interests of citizens – everyone outside the system is victimized.
On the topic of letters-to-the-editor
This is a good opening line from another letter writer: “Politics holds no honor, no truth.”
Oh, please …There was another letter that decried a recent article about the low average annual compensation of shortage of psychiatrists … it’s only $182,700!
Locally, psychiatrist command more:
“Philhaven, a non-profit behavioral healthcare organization, seeks a FT staff Psychiatrist to evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders, and prescribe medications. The position will work in various locations in Lebanon County, PA. MD or appropriate medical license required. Salary is $210,000 – 250,000/year, with benefits. – SOURCE: PennLive
