  • Lancaster Online‘s comments guidelines have changed – “We will take an aggressive approach in monitoring LancasterOnline and our social media pages in an effort to provide a forum for our readers to engage in a healthy and safe exchange of opinions and ideas. Readers who do not adhere to the guidelines will be warned and, in extreme cases, banned.”
  • A comment at the local facebook page, “What’s Happening in Columbia.” – “Prudhomme’s/Rising Sun got nailed last night with a BB gun several times through our front big window….oh joy! Anyone else? Wondering if not retaliation for calling the PD last week regarding the large group of 15 or so hellians screaming, cursing and fist fighting along the sidewalk at the park opposite us.”

  • Appears there is a state law for sewage disposal including private individual systems – “Individual sewage system—A system of piping, tanks or other facilities serving a single lot and collecting and disposing of sewage in whole or in part into the soil or into waters of this Commonwealth or by means of conveyance to another site for final disposal. ” Doubt, though, that means it’s OK to dump sewage into the Susquehanna.
