“It might be hard to see similarities between China’s Yunnan province and Lancaster County. The connection between Columbia, Pa., and China is even harder to imagine.

“But because of a Lancaster County native with close ties to China, local tea drinkers are impacting the economy of villages in Yunnan.

“Hand-picked tea is imported from those villages to Terrace Bloom Tea Co., a startup in Columbia, and sold at retail outlets throughout Central Pennsylvania and New Jersey.”
