- Apologies … We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. To fully understand what happens at borough council meetings or school board meetings or any public meeting, you have to attend. Citizens and interested parties, otherwise, rely on secondary source reports – media articles, waiting for a period of time for the “official minutes” or catching the recollections and recounting of someone who may have attended the meeting. Columbia news, views & reviews was not able to attend (due to a scheduling conflict) – nor record – last night’s borough council meeting. Here is the preliminary agenda (preliminary-borough-council-meeting-agenda-11-14-16) posted at the Borough Website. We have full confidence that Columbia Spy will have coverage of last night’s meeting. Both Columbia Spy and this publication are separate citizen-journalism projects; neither publisher accepts paid advertising nor sponsored content.
