Spring clean-up and flan

On an absolutely gorgeous day in March (Thursday), the signs of spring are appearing. We met Dianne today as she was doing spring spruce-up on 462 just east of town. Mussers Landscape’s gateway garden is starting to wake up. Dianne was trimming, lopping, clipping, weeding, raking and working to give the plantings all the head start advantages. Mussers Landscapes is located at 30 Meadow Road, Columbia.

By the way, it was a great day to go to the Columbia Market House, too. Noticed that Prudhomme’s is not there? But there is a group of nice folks in the space that Prudhomme’s occupied. They are members of the Maranatha (Inglesia de Dios Pentecostal M.I.) located at 28 North Fourth Street in Columbia. We stopped by to inquire about flan. Unfortunately, no flan this week, but they promised “for sure next week.”

Instead we bought one of the specials, white rice with beans and meatballs. Must say, the special was exceptional! We are going back next week for the flan.

magnífica – extraordinaria – deliciosa

Returned to Market House on Friday again for another round of the rice and beans. This time, we ordered the yellow rice with beans. It was magnificent, extraordinary, delicious!
