One interested citizen showed up for the special Borough Council Meeting held earlier this evening. The Borough Council voted to ratify a five-year contract with the Columbia Borough Non-Uniform Employees as of April 1, 2011. Every council member present voted in favor of the ratification; one councilor was absent from the meeting.
